Our simple cover crop or green manure mixture of Austrian Winter Peas, Buckwheat, and Beardless Barley is an excellent option for planting between seasons. These species increase nitrogen in the soil and add nutrients back to the soil while covering the ground to reduce erosion. Cover crops have an extensive list of benefits and uses that include a green manure option for grazing animals, weed control, and increasing next year's yields. Planting can be done in late summer or early fall when the soil is warm enough to be worked.

Great cover crop!!

This is a great cover crop without any invasive seeds mixed in. Germination rate was excellent and couldn’t have asked for a better product.

This is my second purchase.

Great I sowed my seed mix by hand and didn’t take it in at all and after the first rain it bloomed!
