Sainfoin is a winter-hardy, non-bloat legume. It is widely used as a forage or hay crop because of its high quality, high protein levels, and high level of palatability. Sainfoin is deeply rooted and very drought tolerant. It has colorful purple/pink blooms that attract pollinators.
