Plains Coreopsis or Tickseed is a native United States flower that is low maintenance and drought tolerant. It is long-blooming with showy, daisy-like flowers in a range of colors making it a great option for borders. Coreopsis prefers sandy, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Coreopsis grows in upright clumps and will begin to bloom in early summer continuing until the fall.
