Creeping Thyme is a low-growing, evergreen plant native to Europe that is commonly used for ground cover. It is a very fragrant plant with dark green foliage and small, pink/purple bell-shaped flowers that attract butterflies. Creeping Thyme only grows to a height of about 8 inches with spreading tendencies. It is low maintenance, fairly drought tolerant once established, and tolerates foot traffic.
