Strawberry Clover

By

Strawberry Clover, a low-growing clover native to the Mediterranean and Asia, is easy to establish and often used as ground cover or in pastures. Strawberry Clover has creeping stems and green foliage with pink or purple/red florets that attracts beneficial insects. It does well in wet soils and is the most saline tolerant clover. Strawberry Clover is a nitrogen fixer, is tolerant of shade, drought, flooding, and cold temperatures, and does well to protect against wind and erosion. For ground cover applications, Strawberry Clover can be cut to a height of 3-4 inches.
